Berkshire Hathaway Keeps Selling as Cash Hoard Hits Record $382 Billion

Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway is quietly preparing for what may be the biggest buying opportunity in years, but for now, the company is still sitting on the sidelines.

In its latest quarterly filing, Berkshire revealed that it sold another $6.1 billion worth of stocks during the third quarter, lifting total equity sales to $184 billion over the past three years. Notably, Berkshire did not repurchase any of its own shares for the fifth consecutive quarter, suggesting that even Buffett doesn’t consider his own company’s stock undervalued at current levels.
